Please excuse the photo mess up. My site isn’t working properly and I can’t figure out how to fix it. But wanted to get this out.
As I sit to write this blog, I’m utterly exhausted, but in a beautiful blessed way. We just returned from a week at Kejimkujik National Park. The way this park, the perfect weather and being with all of my family fills the depths of my soul is indescribable.

So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.
2 Corinthians 3:18 NLT
Aside from a quick thundershower, the weather was absolutely perfect. Gorgeous sun all day, cool nights. Everyday everyone did something different. Walks, trails, playgrounds, beaches, river rides, waterfall, gift shop, catching up with some precious friends and lots of biking. But I think the favorite of the week, for young and old, was being next to an awesome playground. Meeting lots of new people and #1 favorite……teeter totters. Lol

For as the waters fill the sea, the earth will be filled with an awareness of the glory of the Lord.
Habakkuk 2:14NLT
Our only complaint was cold showers. Some resorted to searching the bathrooms until a hot shower was found after a few nights of cold ones. In contrast we really enjoyed our last evening, eating out at the new restaurant and hanging out on Merrymikedge beach. I did as much as my body and scooter would allow and enjoyed the campfire for other activities.
We also enjoyed a beautiful weekend at Ellenwood Park a couple of weeks ago. Even though they had forcasted lots of rain for most of the province, flooding in Halifax area, we enjoyed radiant sun, family and friends.
We’ve celebrated two birthday’s this summer.

Our middle kids have been having fun with 4-H, pro-show selection went well with three children moving on with two dairy cows and two rabbits traveling to provincials. They continue to enjoy tug of war and we had a great year end beach party.

Our sweet little bantam chickens hatched out their own eggs, we got seven new unexpected babies.

My health update……the good…..another clear, stable CT is behind me. PTL! My recurring UTI has finally cleared, so relieved. The not so good……my iron continues to stay low so monthly infusions are still necessary. The biggest issue right now is my weight. It’s not dangerously low yet but getting very close to it so talk of a J tube is in the works. I just can not get in enough nutrition orally no matter how hard I try. My stomach just can’t handle it.
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
Philippians 4:6 NLT
Please pray for the right decisions to be made regarding my feeding and of course restored health.
In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation.
1 Peter 5:10 NLT
Thank you again, Maria, for sharing your faith-filled journey . I pray for solutions for your nutrition and for God’s blessings on you and that amazing family!
Love and prayers
