June CT Results!

I just received my June 7th CT results this afternoon! NO new spots and NO progression! A couple of spots look better and my vertebra radiation did what they hoped it would do! Overall good news, chemo did what was expected. I had hoped for more but will definitely take this result!

It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones.

I start my next med, Ibrance, on Monday, June 21st. Praying this will continue to halt the cancer cells in their tracks with minimal side effects.

These last couple of weeks have continued to bring frustratingly slow recovery but I do feel a bit better each day. I think a big part of this is mentally adjusting to what “normal” will be for me from here on out. I feel like I’ve aged 40 years in the last month and it’s not fun. Reducing my daily expectations and knowing how to allot my daily energy most effectively is a major learning curve. The Letrozole is blocking all estrogen in my body so lower energy, achey joints among other things will be my new norm.

Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.

I also finally received my compression glove and sleeve. My left arm has had lymphadema since fairly early in chemo and the swelling is still present although my measurements have reduced since my original ones in April. Wearing this sleeve and glove as much as possible each day will hopefully further reduce this swelling and help my body remove the lymph fluid from this arm/hand.

These past two weeks have included lots of swims in the pools, trailer renovations, gardening and just everyday cooking, cleaning, laundry & organizing!

Everything is growing!

It’s been nice to do the little everyday things we often take for granted.

The girls and I had a beautiful visit with my mom!❤❤❤ We are now allowed to book outdoor visits, bringing up to five people. She does not need a mask and we do not need to social distance. Very thankful she was up for coming outside, many days, she is not. Please pray for all those in LTC. As restrictions losen for the rest of us, they are not being losened enough in LTC to allow many of these residents the time and visits they so desperately need and deserve. She is fully vaccinated! We want to be able to go to her room with all the kids and sit and visit with her on days she is not up in her wheelchair, but we are not allowed. 😔 She is only one of many suffering from the lonliness.

Love you always and forever momma!

Please continue to pray for complete healing! I am asking the Lord for complete regression of all the cancer in my body! Join us in praying for that!

Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise.
