A Week of Blessings!

Recovery continued this week…..very slowly but each day was an improvement until I started my new med. I’ve had three doses so far and it brought some increased fatigue and aches. Very thankful for no other side effects yet! Hoping this is all I’ll have. My bloodwork and symptoms will be closely watched over the next couple of months so we can adjust as needed to make this doable long term. Taking both of my cancer meds at bedtime has been very helpful as the extreme sleepiness brought on by both of them wears off for the most part by morning.

Dose #1

Blessings abounded this week! Several breaths of sweetness in the midst of everything!

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.
James 1:17 ESV

Our third born, second oldest son, Ryan got to be part of a beautiful prom with a small group of close friends. He also finished high school on Wednesday!

Hard work has paid off!❤
Proud momma!❤
Beautiful couple!❤

Monday we were ecstatic to become grandparents for the first time! Perfect, precious Aubrey Lydia was born! To say we are so thankful she is safely here is an huge understatement! May you always know how fiercely loved you are sweet Aubrey!

Welcome to the world precious girl!❤
Aunty Eden and you will be best friends!❤

Also on Monday, hubby and I went and picked up his new truck! This was planned four years ago when we bought our van, knowing he needed a replacement truck then, he sacrificed for us to have a newer family vehicle and drove his older truck for four more years. With the van paid off, a 25 year old truck, he drove for 15 years, it was time to upgrade!

Just needs a rack and stickers!❤

Our sweet sassy pony is doing great too!❤ Her meds are working beautifully! She’s shedding out, got her weight and muscle tone back to normal!

Happy, healthy pony!

I see my oncologist tomorrow morning to check on everything. Along with an OT check up. The new sleeve is not working as I’d hoped. It’s great if I’m sitting still but any real movement or work and it slips down. Wearing the glove makes hand washing as often as I need too with diaper changes, cooking for an army and other general work throughout the entire day impossible so it’s rarely getting worn. My swelling is slowly decreasing on it’s own. Praying that continues.

Continuing to pray for healing, energy to keep up with my crew and for these drugs to be working well!

We are blessed! We are thankful!

give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 ESV

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
John 14:27 ESV
