October Thankfulness

But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:57 NIV

God is in control despite Covid mandates affecting us and those we love! It’s not about health anymore!

My cancer journey has been quiet this month and for which I am extremely thankful! I just completed week 2 of my 3 week Ibrance cycle. After a month long break I was able to see which side effects returned. I’m definitely more tired but the biggest change was again to my joints, they’ve gotten even stiffer and weaker. Thankful for my pain med though, as even though my joints don’t feel good, they are not hurting like they were. I also had a fall on one of our walks with a knee injury that took longer than expected to heal (still healing at almost 2 weeks). Some walking sticks are on their way for walking on uneven ground that my weak ankles and knees can’t manage.

But we have so much to be thankful for……

always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 5:20 NIV

Thankful for the opportunity to share my current testimony with a dear friend, interview style. Looking forward to the finished edit. Not sure how or where it will be shared but may God use it for His glory alone.

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Colossians 3:17 NIV

Thank you for continued prayers, for day to day life, for willing hearts, for healing and for my upcoming Zometa infusion that knocked me out in the summer!

I will praise God’s name in song and glorify him with thanksgiving.

  1. Maria, your willingness to share your “day to day” is already a powerful testimony and inspiration. Be assured of continued prayer.
