Heavy & Blessed January

January has had me fervently praying for so many loved ones that have, and continue to, face struggles this month. A precious friend and her husband battling Covid-19, another losing a beloved family member, another facing cancer recurrance, and continued lock downs and mandates causing heartbreak. πŸ™πŸ˜ͺ

Trusting God’s hand is upon each of these situations and that He’s hearing the prayers being lifted on their behalf.

I had my 3rd Zometa infusion on Monday, January 24th. This dose was more like the 2nd, more manageable, not fun or comfortable but not knocking me completely out. It brings increased fatigue and aches. So thankful to be blessed with lots of help, fun for our children, meals and lots of help around the house. We couldn’t do this without each of you, thank you!❀

God continues to bless! One activity our children have greatly missed this winter, is skating. For several years we have skated almost every Wednesday from late fall into early spring. It has been several years since we’ve had more than a day or two suitable for outdoor skating, not this year! God has abundantly blessed with freezing the ponds and lakes like He hasn’t for years! Thank you Lord! You knew how much our kids needed this!

All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God:
Deuteronomy 28:2 NIV

I had my eyes checked earlier this month, hadn’t been since I was a teenager, and have greatly benefited from a pair of readers.πŸ˜πŸ€“

Little Eden is talking up a storm! The little parrot stage is one of my very favorite. They grow too fast!

We ended our big birthday season with two sweet girls turning 7yrs and 5yrs. Because they were born 3 days apart we’ve always had one party for them. Each having their own food choice, own cake and gifts but held on the same day. This year they wanted their own party on their own day. One loved it, the other didn’t. Lol One loved being in the spotlight, the other did not enjoy it.

Surely you have granted him unending blessings and made him glad with the joy of your presence.
Psalms 21:6 NIV

I just completed my seventh Ibrance cycle, 75mg for two weeks on, two weeks off. This dosage/plan is manageable but still causes fatigue, bowel issues, skin issues (new these last two cycles) and some increased arm swelling/stiffness, this has traveled up both of my arms instead of just affecting my hands/wrists.

My body does not like winter now. Even though I planned and have warmer gear for this year, any kind of cold on me is terribly tolerated. My hands are the worst, the slightest chill feels as though 1000 needles/knives are piercing my skin. It hits so quickly and hurts so badly. It feels similar on the rest of my body but my hands are definitely the worst.

Now I rejoice in what I am suffering for you, and I fill up in my flesh what is still lacking in regard to Christ’s afflictions, for the sake of his body, which is the church.
Colossians 1:24 NIV

Please continue to pray for healing! Still believing NEAD is possible!
